Sales Coordinator - Apparel Wholesale
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Management Team in a dynamic and fast-paced apparel wholesale environment. This role is integral to the seamless execution of sales operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the full order lifecycle.
The Sales Coordinator will serve as a key operational partner, managing high volumes of complex data with strict attention to detail. This position requires strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and oversee sales orders from entry through final fulfillment, ensuring pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines match customer expectations
Monitor and track orders through production, shipping, invoicing, and delivery to ensure timely and error-free execution
Maintain, validate, and reconcile order data across internal systems, sales platforms, and customer records
Coordinate between Sales Management and cross-functional partners such as Production, Shipping, Finance, and Customer Service
Prepare and distribute sales reports, order summaries, and sales forecasting data for leadership
Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, or risks related to orders or timelines
Ensure all customer, product, pricing, and program records are accurate and up to date
Support sales meetings, line reviews, and key account presentations by organizing and preparing materials
Adhere to internal processes and specific customer compliance requirements
Coordinate sample preparation and shipment for customer presentations, photoshoots, and internal needs
Qualifications
Proven ability to manage large volumes of data with high accuracy and attention to detail
Experience supporting sales teams within wholesale, apparel, or consumer goods industries
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of accountability, reliability, and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or order management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
Apparel or fashion wholesale sector experience
Familiarity with seasonal sales cycles, production schedules, and delivery timelines
Experience supporting senior sales leadership or managing key accounts
Basic understanding of retail math
