Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd Shift Fab Grinder to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Fab Grinder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will possess experience using air-powered or electric grinders (angle grinders, die grinders) to remove excess material, smooth welds, and break sharp edges; , proficiency reading blueprints and/or schematics, basic math skills, and metal finishing experience. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with excellent organizational and communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

Abide by all safety regulations and policies to ensure a safe working environment

Wear all required PPE for any task or job being performed

Meet production standards and efficiencies focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Perform daily housekeeping tasks and help maintain 5S standards in your work location and department

Inspect product to ensure compliance with quality and production standards

Requirements?

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic mechanical and mathematical abilities

Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience using air-powered or electric grinders

Proficiency reading blueprints and/or schematics

Experience grinding and shaping corners on product consistently to a uniform radius
