The strategy manager will be responsible for partnering with the senior leaders in Sourcing and cross-functional teams to drive meaningful strategy and execution across their businesses. This partner will work closely with Coffeehouse Excellence, analytics, market partners, and other cross functional groups to build and maintain an always-on strategy approach, identifying market trends and opportunities to support their segments and in achieving excellence and results.
A strong candidate for this role will have a strong background in strategy development, supported by analytics and insights experience. This person should also have an innate ability to craft compelling narratives for a wide variety of audiences, from our business development and operations teams to our executive team.

Partner closely with senior leaders to build, measure, and maintain business strategies to deliver against the broader business strategy
Guide market team in thinking through complex and ambiguous issues, identifying creative information sources and approaches, and pushing the team to develop new insights.
Lead strategic problem-solving efforts by helping sourcing and cross functional teams identify and define key issues, develop hypotheses and design required analyses
Collate themes across segments to facilitate business unit planning and decision making
Plan and support business unit and department processes and practices to ensure alignment with company business goals and objectives
Build structured presentations illustrating key business issues, new insights, and recommendations
Communicate learnings and insights across cross-functional team, sourcing strategy and finance team leadership
We'd?love?to hear from people with:
8 yrs leading and/or supporting corporate strategy, business consulting, or equivalent.
Strong financial acumen and comprehensive understanding of supply chain risk and resiliency
8 yrs managing complex large-scale business projects.
8 yrs general business experience in large, matrixed organizations.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
