This position contributes to Starbucks success by facilitating the planning, establishment, execution and evaluation of the contract lifecycle and contract lifecycle management . Identifies and designs processes, guidelines and procedures to effectively deliver contracts management governance, ensure contract performance, and mitigate the company's 3rd party and legal exposure. Develops and implements standardized processes for tracking and managing contracts and maintaining compliance, and in accordance with sound commercial business practices. As a manager of contract management, you will...
Train, coach and mentor contract specialists and business clients on developing and managing contracts to meet business obligations and mitigate supply chain risk and exposure.
Work cross-functionally with business partners, cross functional partners, suppliers and other teams to ensure successful execution of the program. Ensure projects and business processes within the program comply with established company standards.
Ensure business and legal teams understand and work toward meeting compliance and best business practices for managing contractual obligations. Analyzes and evaluates project, business and supplier interdependencies and their impacts to the program. Recommend and implements process and program improvements to meet changing mission parameters and requirements.
Develop post-contract performance reports, addenda, and contract support documents. Monitor contract management process execution to ensure that defined parameters are met and practices are effective and achieve the overall goals and objectives of the program. Communicate program status to participants and stakeholders accurately and on time. Escalate to ensure issues are resolved, as needed. Define program and ensures program governance.
Optimize financial, human and other resource allocations between projects, system management, information audits, reporting, etc. and ensures effective resource utilization across the program.
We'd love to hear from people with:
6 years' experience in contract administration in a manufacturing, consumer goods, distribution or government contracting environment
5 years' general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
5 years managing complex large-scale projects
5 years requirements gathering and analysis
5 years working with end-users to define work flows and integrate business processes and technology into effective business solutions
5 years systems and process analysis, design and deployment
3 years building, leading and mentoring teams

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
