In addition, this position acts and maintains a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with co-workers, vendors & customers. Job Duties:Has a +1 Service attitude and provides courteous, friendly customer service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests.Maintains sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner and maintains discretion/confidentiality in all matters.Reconciles monthly credit card and depository bank accounts (and enters appropriate reconciliation journal entries).Posts and reconciles credit card receipts.Balances and reconciles various accounts in the General Ledger as they relate to bank reconciliations (Cash, Credit Card, Scanned Checks, Credit Card Discounts, etc.).Assists hotel management with questions arising from daily operations relating to Accounts Receivable.Monitors various in-house accounts (perm) and fraud reports, as requested.Assists in the completion of various administrative forms as requested.Posts and reconciles digital gift cards.Reconciles franchise hotels' PMS postings to results in Workday.Assists with special projects and other tasks that may be required from time to time.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneGeneral Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:Requires the ability to take written and verbal directions and clearly speak and read English. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and have the ability to do data entry with efficiency and accuracy. Must have the ability to work efficiently and independently. Must be at least 18 years of age.Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent with some college or technical school coursework is preferred and minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience. Experience in Accounting is preferred. Knowledge and Skills:Proficiency in or knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Word software. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.May require a minimum of one-week dedicated training at a selected hotel to learn all aspects of the property management system.Ability to operate most standard office equipment.Keen attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:NonePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
