Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Location: Norfolk or Fairfax, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the research and development of demonstrator and proto@type radio frequency (RF) test and evaluation systems in support of HF radar programs.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Support the development, acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of RF test and evaluation equipment for HF radar projects

Assist with the planning and execution of RF-related field operations

Evaluate system performance and recommend design improvements to enhance functionality and resolve technical issues

Utilize computer-aided engineering tools to support design, analysis, and testing activities

Support integration efforts across hardware and software systems to ensure overall system performance

Participate in the review of design proposals, specifications, and technical documentation to assess feasibility and application

Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test procedures, installation guides, and system reports

Collaborate with engineering teams to support system development, testing, and deployment activities

Provide support and guidance to junior personnel as needed

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

Master of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or related scientific discipline

Two (2)+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

RF design, development, or deployment

RF measurement, testing, and evaluation
