Travel Requirements: Less than 5% (primarily local to Norfolk Naval Base or Little Creek)

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to develop Command and Control software for Autonomous Naval Vessels. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in support of mission-critical systems.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and issues.

Enhance functionality, user interface, and controls.

Support software demonstrations and exercises as needed .

Interface with customers regarding tasking, objectives, and deliverables.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Three (3)+ years of experience with software engineering to include:

JavaScript (mandatory)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Angular

Familiarity with integration between software and hardware systems
