Automotive Sales Representative

We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.

Job Duties:

Serves as a consultant to customers requiring solutions in the automotive shop and fleet repair facilities

Manages customer relationship and serves as lead point of contact for assigned accounts

Develops quotes and proposals to meet customer requirements

Creates new business activity by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers

Collaborates with our supplier base to stay current on all price lists and product literature

Keeps management informed by submitting reports on results and activity

Collaborates with our service and construction teams to develop and submit competitive proposals to meet customer needs

Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and working closely with our supplier representatives

Promotes repair service and installation opportunities along with equipment sales

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

A high level of Sales Acumen including but not limited to the ability to

Develop and effectively deliver and close on customer proposals

Apply proven discovery processes and skills to determine customer needs

Develop proposals which successfully balance customer needs with JF Petroleum profitability requirements

Successfully negotiate and close on customer proposals

Follow-up on and close assigned sales leads

Develop and manage relationships with customers.

A high degree of product knowledge specific to our industry and/or a demonstrated willingness to quickly learn the fundamental products and services offered by JF Petroleum Group

Requirements

Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree preferred

5+ years of sales/business development experience (required)

Proven track record of sales success

Consultative selling skills

Automotive, Auto repair, Petroleum and/or Commercial Fleet experience

Exemplary communication and presentation skills

Self-motivated; able to work independently without daily supervision

Strong organization skills, project management, territory management

Authorized to work in the US

Must be able to meet companys employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
