The Role
The Sr. Software Engineer will partner in an agile team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for producing and explaining solutions in the form of documented system requirements.

This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.

The Main Responsibilities
Partners in an agile scrum team environment to design, develop, code, test, debug and support in production new billing software configurations or significant enhancements to existing configurations
Works closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements
Collaborates with product developers in an agile team to define and implement effective and efficient automated tests
Documents own work to promote transparency and reuse
Actively participates in code-review process
Prioritizes and handles multiple concurrent projects and efforts
Demonstrates accountability for successful completion of assignments and tasks
What We Look For in a Candidate
5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (Computer Science or similar is preferred). 4 + years of experience with a master's degree.
Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices
Experience in Agile practices, including planning and grooming, sprint management, daily standup, and retrospective participation
Extensive experience configuring billing applications, Kenan preferred
Proficiency with Oracle and SQLServer development tools
Experience using SQL with Oracle and MS-SQLServer databases
Cloud development experience, preferably Azure
Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail oriented
Quick learner and actively seeks out new technology
Strong problem-solving, time management, written and verbal communication skills
Proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement, innovation and automation of processes
Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
