Day to Day
As a Director of Product at Indeed, your role is to drive the evolution of our Marketplace strategy by working across levels (from APM to CEO) and organizational groups to influence prioritization and ensure high quality execution. Your days will start and end with data, ranging from macro level business and market performance to sub-micro investigation into segment-level market dynamics. You will partner with Product, Market, and Business Line leaders to develop strategies and systems that create exceptional value for our customers and great experiences for Job Seekers
Responsibilities
Define and drive product vision and long-term strategy for a portfolio of products and experiences
Oversee, mentor, and grow a team of product managers while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
Build and prioritize product roadmaps using data, user research, and business goals
Partner with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products and features at scale
Establish success metrics and use data and experimentation to guide product decisions and measure impact
Build alignment across teams and leaders to support product strategy, vision, and execution
Skills/Competencies
Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
Experience leading cross-functional groups (Product, Data Scientists, Engineers) to deliver complex projects across organizational boundaries.
Ability to coach, mentor, and support future leaders across functions. Y
Readiness to be closely involved and act as a player-coach when needed.
Direct and progressive experience in scaled Online Marketplaces, with a track record of successful partnership with Science and Engineering leadership to deliver transformational changes to these businesses.
