Engineer - Energy/Performance Testing

This is an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in Newton, IA.

Define project scope, standards, costs, and schedules in collaboration with customers and sales

Plan and execute laboratory and on-site testing; travel to client sites as required

Coordinate testing activities, schedules, documentation, and technician output

Review test data for compliance; communicate results, issues, and scope changes to customers

Prepare and review technical reports and serve as Project Handler and/or Reviewer of Record

Support development of new test methods, fixtures, and equipment

Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and internal quality requirements

Represent the organization at customer meetings and industry events as needed

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar.

Internship or prior work experience preferred.

C++, C#, or web programming knowledge preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

CAD or similar design skills.

Strong communication skills.

What we offer:

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-70,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
