Description

A client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with advanced ERP system knowledge. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting month-end closing, completing account reconciliations, and enhancing financial processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily financial transactions, including maintenance of the general ledger and performing bank reconciliations.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Lead internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with relevant standards.

Work collaboratively with the Financial Controller to facilitate efficient audit procedures.

Contribute to departmental and project budgeting processes.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and internal procedures.

Serve as the subject matter expert for ERP systems, addressing issues and driving enhancements.

Provide training on ERP system usage for team members as needed.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems.

Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong numerical aptitude and financial acumen.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software.

Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Outstanding communication skills.
