Description

Our team is currently looking for a Staff Accountant with at least one year of accounting experience or a related background. This position requires strong familiarity with accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliations, debits and credits, and journal entry preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage ledger reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.

Perform regular and thorough bank reconciliations, as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

Prepare accurate journal entries to record business transactions.

Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations.

Organize and maintain comprehensive financial records.

Assist in developing internal control policies, procedures, and support financial planning initiatives.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve department objectives.

Support company tax compliance efforts and contribute to tax planning strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field.

Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Expertise in accounts payable processes, bank reconciliations, debits/credits, and journal entries.

Prior experience using accounting software.

Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
