Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Harrisburg, Oregon. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting essential accounting functions. This position requires a proactive individual who can contribute immediately.

Responsibilities:

Perform month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Manage general ledger accounts, including preparing and posting journal entries.

Reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain data integrity.

Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

Create and maintain detailed reports and analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.

Conduct regular reviews to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Provide support in audits and compliance-related activities as neede

Requirements

Proven experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of general ledger management.

Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

Hands-on experience with accounts receivable procedures and bank reconciliations.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
