Housing/Safety Assistant

Description We are looking for a Housing/Safety Assistant to join an oilfield services company in Midland, Texas. This contract-to-permanent role will require you to work onsite Monday through Friday and report directly to the Director of Safety. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing housing arrangements and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee housing arrangements, including daily monitoring and management.

Negotiate housing rates to secure cost-effective solutions.

Collaborate closely with the Director of Safety to address departmental needs.

Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized housing records.

Utilize spreadsheets to track and report housing metrics.

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and housing standards.

Prepare reports and documentation as requested by leadership.

Provide general administrative assistance to support daily operations.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in housing management. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or assistant role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry.

Familiarity with safety standards and procedures is a plus.
