Job Description:
The Manager, Marketing is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing strategies across North America to drive demand generation, brand visibility, and commercial growth. This role leads cross-channel marketing initiatives, manages a team responsible for digital marketing execution and creative services, and ensures optimal performance of marketing campaigns and programs.
The Manager oversees demand generation initiatives, marketing operations processes, and promotional campaigns supporting product launches, customer education programs, and industry events. The role also manages marketing partnerships, campaign execution strategies, and marketing budgets while ensuring timely qualification and routing of marketing-generated leads through CRM systems.
Critically, this role is accountable for the planning, execution, and ROI of marketing initiatives that support commercial priorities and drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation
Plan and execute integrated marketing strategies focused on demand generation, sales enablement, and pipeline growth.
Lead cross-channel marketing campaigns across digital marketing, email marketing, website initiatives, social media, and promotional programs.
Monitor, analyze, and refine campaign performance to maximize marketing ROI and support revenue growth.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align marketing strategy and execution with business objectives.
Own the planning, execution, and ROI tracking of marketing initiatives.
CRM & Lead Management
Oversee CRM lead qualification and routing processes to ensure timely conversion of marketing-generated leads.
Develop and implement lead qualification criteria and lifecycle management processes in coordination with marketing and sales leadership.
Monitor lead conversion performance and optimize lead management workflows for improved pipeline contribution.
Ensure timely follow-up and seamless handoffs between marketing and field sales teams.
Campaign Execution & Digital Marketing
Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Manage website initiatives, email marketing programs, and social media campaigns to drive engagement and lead generation.
Partner with creative services teams to develop effective campaign assets and marketing materials.
Utilize marketing automation and CRM platforms to execute and optimize lead nurturing programs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines in all marketing communications.
Promotional Campaigns, Events & Education Marketing
Support promotional campaigns aligned with product launches, commercial initiatives, and marketing programs.
Coordinate marketing support for customer education programs, training courses, and promotional events.
Develop marketing strategies supporting trade shows, industry events, and customer engagement initiatives.
Partner with training and education teams to align marketing campaigns with educational programs.
Marketing Partnerships & Advertising Programs
Manage marketing partnerships that support brand visibility and lead generation initiatives.
Plan and execute advertising strategies supporting marketing campaigns and industry events.
Evaluate program performance and optimize marketing investments to maximize ROI.
Budget Management
Plan, manage, and optimize marketing budgets associated with campaigns, advertising programs, and promotional initiatives.
Track marketing spend and assess campaign performance against ROI and business impact goals.
Provide regular budget reporting and make data-driven recommendations for marketing investments.
Creative Services & Brand Execution
Provide coordination and leadership for creative services supporting marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives.
Oversee development of marketing assets including advertising creative, digital content, and promotional materials.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across marketing channels and campaign materials.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor marketing team members responsible for campaign execution, digital marketing operations, and creative services.
Support professional development and provide guidance on campaign planning and execution.
Collaborate with product management teams on content planning and go-to-market initiatives.
Work with global and regional stakeholders to adapt and execute global campaigns within the North America market.
Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, training and education, and customer support to support marketing initiatives.
Analytics & Optimization
Plan and implement campaign tracking to evaluate performance across marketing initiatives.
Analyze campaign data and use insights to refine targeting, messaging, and marketing strategies.
Monitor marketing trends and tools to ensure effective marketing execution.
Report on and optimize for the ROI of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of related marketing experience
Proven experience planning and executing integrated marketing and demand generation campaigns
Experience managing marketing teams and cross-functional initiatives
Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics)
Experience managing marketing budgets and evaluating campaign ROI
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, product management, and global marketing teams
Background in the dental, healthcare, or medical device industry preferred
Ability to travel approximately 10-20% to support industry events, team collaboration, and customer programs
This is an onsite position based in Brea, CA with 4 days in office.
