The team leads Walmart's talent acquisition technology, supporting recruitment for 2.4 million associates across all levels. They design and manage scalable software solutions that enable hiring from front-line to executive roles. With expertise in technical solution design, project management, and process improvement, the team drives innovation and operational excellence. Collaborating cross-functionally, they deliver reliable, efficient, and secure systems aligned with business objectives. What you'll do:
Analyze and classify requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
Design scalable, maintainable software components based on high-level architecture and detailed specifications.
Develop and maintain code adhering to coding standards, ensuring quality, security, and performance.
Conduct code reviews and debugging to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative and incremental software solutions.
Implement automated scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Document technical designs and development processes to support knowledge sharing and maintenance.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and platform design.
Demonstrated ability to conduct requirement analysis, including functional and non-functional specifications, and translate them into scalable solutions.
Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems to ensure high availability and maintainability.
Proficient in coding standards, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Skilled in test case development, defect management, and root cause analysis to maintain code quality.
Strong technical acumen with knowledge of emerging tools, telemetry, and automation scripting.
Ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams and contribute to iterative development cycles.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
