The content services team at VIZIO develops core services that enable user interactions on the VIZIO OS platform. This team delivers scalable, high-quality software components through iterative development and continuous integration. Members collaborate to design, build, and maintain robust solutions aligned with business and technical goals. The team emphasizes expertise in platform design, product strategy, and generative artificial intelligence, fostering a delivery-focused environment that supports innovation and excellence across the platform experience. Strong skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and software engineering drive successful outcomes.
What you'll do:
Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence using internal and external APIs.
Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and measure solution impact.
Monitor application performance and support continuous integration and delivery practices.
Mentor peers and contribute to best practices and innovation initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in software engineering with strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
Experience delivering scoped features and models through collaborative teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
Skilled in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
Ability to conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Strong technical acumen in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with business objectives.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
