This position exists to evaluate and analyze compliance with established processes and identify opportunities to improve quality in the Program Integrity Oversight Division (PIO). PIO provides accountability and ensures that taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently. PIO identifies and prevents provider and recipient fraud, waste, and abuse in public programs administered by the Department of Human Services. This position will participate in and maintain quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and quality improvement (QI) functions. Under administrative direction, this position will also provide product/systems support to PIO staff.
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience in quality management in a healthcare field; AND
Experience must demonstrate the following:
Prepare reports and data visualizations by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information or findings, and recommend quality improvement.
Develop electronic quality management tools, templates, forms, checklists, reporting guides, and/or standards of operating (SOP) manual.
Lead in the development of the division's standards, policies, procedures, forms, and/or protocols related to databases and applications utilized by the division.
Ability to prepare for and conduct audits and measure outcomes.
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Assure all state and federal laws related to Medical Assistance (MA) align with program integrity investigations and/or processes.
Understanding of the capabilities of automated computer systems and databases and be able to access, extract, manipulate and present data in different formats to support investigative activities.
Interpreting and applying complex policies, procedures, laws and regulations necessary to support the medical and/or legal issues of cases.
Use SharePoint and other collaboration tools to develop and maintain systems for efficient information sharing, organization and planning, and data collection and analysis.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and the case management systems and applications used by the investigative units.
Respond and adapt to changes in priorities, operations practices, policies, procedures, laws, rules and coding systems - within a minimal time frame.
Identify areas of risk specific to program integrity and assist in the establishment of a Risk and Mitigation Plan.
Work effectively and communicate with difficult and/or resistant individuals and groups.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
