Job Posting: Staff Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in their industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in developing their career in finance and accounting within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Analyze and report on variances, account balances, and financial trends

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives

Participate in process improvements and system implementations

Assist with audits as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1+ years of accounting experience preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite) is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Requirements - Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filing.

Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and processes.

Proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries.

Ability to perform accurate cash reconciliations.

Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and standards.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Effective communication abilities for team collaboration.

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
