Job Title: HR GeneralistJob Description

As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, and administration of various learning programs, including onboarding, leadership, skills, and compliance training. Your contributions will support culture and engagement initiatives and the development of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Design, coordinate, and administer learning programs, including onboarding, leadership, skills, and compliance training.

Assist with vendor coordination and conduct training needs assessments.

Provide logistics support for training delivery and track participant engagement.

Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Support culture and engagement initiatives, internal communications, and survey analysis.

Partner with HR and leaders to strengthen culture and employee development.

Draft, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

Ensure consistent policy interpretation and respond to employee and manager inquiries.

Communicate policies and support compliance-related training.

Assist with audits, documentation, and HR compliance record keeping.

Manage and support all aspects of the off-boarding process.

Collaborate with Employee Relations, Legal, and HR partners on policy-related matters.

Essential Skills

Strong understanding of human resources and employee relations.

Experience in onboarding and HR administration.

Proficiency in administrative support tasks.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Entry-level to 5 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or payroll.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite and two days working from home. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ypsilanti, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
