Director, Corporate Strategy - eCommerce About the Team We are a people-led, tech-powered omnichannel retailer dedicated to helping people save money and live better. The eCommerce Strategy team shapes and advances Walmart's most critical growth priorities by translating ambition into coordinated action. We are looking for forward-thinking, data-driven, and collaborative leaders to join us in our mission. As Director of eCommerce Strategy, you will provide strategic direction and serve as a catalyst across high-impact initiatives aligned to Walmart's Customer Value Proposition and Top Enterprise Priorities. This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution-driving clarity, alignment, and early momentum before transitioning initiatives to sustained business ownership. What You'll Do... Drive eCommerce Business Strategy
Provide strategic direction by analyzing business objectives, customer needs, and enterprise priorities, translating strategy into initiatives that drive measurable growth.
Offer insights grounded in competitive dynamics, industry trends, and macroeconomic conditions to inform decision-making.
Evaluate trade-offs, resource requirements, and financial implications to maximize value creation.
Partner with senior leaders to align initiatives to Walmart's strategic priorities and create long-term competitive advantage.
Lead Cross-Functional Strategic Initiatives
Lead early-stage eCommerce initiatives by clarifying anticipated impact, scope, requirements, sequencing, and accountability across stakeholders.
Conduct stakeholder mapping and build alignment across eCommerce, Marketing, Product, Technology, Merchandising, Operations, and Finance.
Establish shared goals and information-sharing platforms that foster collaboration and accelerate progress.
Resolve ambiguity, surface trade-offs, and drive coordinated action in environments where influence outweighs direct authority.
Transition operationally ready programs to long-term business owners with clear ownership and governance structures.
Executive Communication and Performance Oversight
Maintain an active understanding of progress across key programs, ensuring enterprise leadership visibility into performance, dependencies, and risks.
Develop executive-ready materials that synthesize complex, cross-functional work into clear, concise updates aligned to preferred leadership formats.
Frame initiatives in terms of customer impact, growth, value creation, and financial performance.
Anticipate leadership questions and enable informed, timely decision-making through structured insights and analysis.
Advance Ways of Working
Proactively identify significant or emerging issues that could impact top initiatives and partner with business leaders to address them early.
Strengthen governance forums and reporting mechanisms to reinforce disciplined execution and accountability.
Leverage data, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to challenge existing processes, redefine ways of working, and drive more efficient and scalable execution models.

You have experience leading corporate strategy or business transformation initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
You demonstrate strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
You bring structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making to ambiguous, cross-functional challenges.
You understand eCommerce growth levers including assortment, price competitiveness, customer experience, fulfillment speed, and digital acceleration and connect initiatives to measurable performance impact

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
