Position Summary: Serving as a business partner to hiring managers, and moving seamlessly between technical and corporate roles, the Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting to meet organizational workforce needs. Key customers and partners for this role include hiring managers and other company leadership, employees, the external talent community, candidates, schools and universities, and community agencies and organizations. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter is a key member of the Human Resources team and brings labor market and pipeline insights and expertise that drives strategic staffing decisions. Hoffman has projects throughout the United States and the need for scheduling flexibility (Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend hours) is important.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE Annually
Essential Responsibilities:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process to meet current and future talent needs.
Partners closely with the leadership team and hiring managers on job descriptions, requisitions, interview guides, and hiring and selection materials. Is a trusted business advisor.
Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers and customizes an efficient and effective recruiting strategy that includes sourcing, attracting, pipelining and securing talent based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Promotes and upholds Hoffman's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the entire talent lifecycle.
Identifies appropriate and effective job marketing channels, including various social media platforms, and ensures jobs are posted and/or distributed in a timely manner.
Reviews applications and identifies qualified candidates for further evaluation and interviewing with the hiring team.
Shares job market insights and interview best practices with hiring managers, leadership and HR team members to raise awareness and build internal knowledge.
Conducts hiring manager training as it relates to interviewing, selection, and candidate outreach.
Uses professional courage and negotiation skills to give feedback and respectfully challenge thinking of various stakeholders to drive better outcomes and best practice alignment.
Works collaboratively and tirelessly with HR team members to build an industry leading Recruiting function.
Supports the preparation of recruiting dashboards and reports by maintaining and providing accurate data for metrics.
Assists with the interview process by completing initial screening interviews as necessary; participates on interview panels with hiring managers and other stakeholders when needed.
Guides hiring managers and other leadership through the selection process.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and other human resources staff during the offer phase, identifying and recommending equitable compensation and incentive components, start dates, and other relevant details.
Ensures a strong service delivery to all recruiting stakeholders, with emphasis on follow up and effective communication throughout the recruiting life cycle.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as Hoffman's company policies and core values.
Participation support as needed in job fairs, industry and community recruiting events, high school and college recruiting programs and conferences, and other recruiting and networking opportunities to promote employment with Hoffman. Continuously researches new opportunities for outreach in partnership with Workforce Planning.

Professional Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or a relevant field required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Minimum five (5) years of in-house, full cycle recruiting. A combination of in-house and agency recruiting experience may be considered, with a strong preference for in-house recruiting experience.
Experience managing applicants in an Applicant Tracking System required.
Experience with both corporate and technical recruiting strongly preferred.
Construction industry recruiting experience preferred.
Experience working with pay equity laws and requirements.
Experience working with Korn Ferry Leadership Architect framework preferred.
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Recruiter, and ZoomInfo preferred.
Required Skills
