As a Security Officer - Customer Service Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor interactions, respond to concerns, and document observations with clear communication. Mon02:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Sun06:15 AM - 02:45 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and campus community by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate campus resources and/or public emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence halls, parking areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.

Monitor access points, check doors, gates and restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft and/or policy violations through visible presence and reporting.

Document and report security-related incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns, complete shift activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.

Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
