The Boeing Company is looking for a Test Engineer to support our Space Systems Test (Environmental) Enterprise Capability in El Segundo, CA . The candidate will be a part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation team primarily supporting environmental and propulsion testing projects. This position will also support multiple sites.

Position Responsibilities:

Support the identification, development, and execution of projects related to Space Environmental Testing & Propulsion Testing

Support Development of training curriculum & equipment under the direction of our Space Systems Test training leader

Provide Project Management oversight on innovation and investment projects related to space systems testing (performance to plan, integration, delivery management, progress planning, communication)

Provide program support as required for propulsion & space environments testing events

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 2 : 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Environmental Space Testing

Project management experience

Interdisciplinary experience in a technical field

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Entry-Level (Level 1): $76,500 - $103,500

Summary Pay Range Associate Level (Level 2): $90,950 - $123,050

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Post-Start is required.
