Job Title: Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Grinder Operator to perform precision grinding of component pieces in accordance with blueprints and drawings. This role offers opportunities for overtime and requires a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate machines following setup and verification by a supervisor.

Verify tolerances by inspecting the first five pieces and submit them for final inspection.

Report any variances to the supervisor.

Continue running the job in accordance with blueprint or drawing specifications once pieces pass inspection.

Deliver completed orders to the shipping department.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Use all required and instructed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

1+ year of machine operating experience.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Proficiency in production and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with hand and power tools.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal directions in English.

Attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts.

Capability to operate material handling machinery.

Initiative and proactive work ethic.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
