Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to work on 1st and 2nd shifts, operating honing or lapping machines. This entry-level position involves working with older machines, requiring candidates to be comfortable working around them. A typical day involves standing in one spot, placing small metal parts into a machine, and performing repetitive tasks that require a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate honing or lapping machines.

Place small metal parts into machines for processing.

Check parts using no-go gauges and perform basic calculations.

Document basic numbers and data accurately.

Maintain high attention to detail in repetitive tasks.

Essential Skills

Comfortable working with older grinding machines.

No allergies to the oil used in machines.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.

Comfortable working with small parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Machine Operating experience is a plus.

Manufacturing experience is beneficial.

CNC or Grinding experience is advantageous.

Experience with gages and understanding of numbers and measurements is helpful.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
