Job Summary and Qualifications

This position will work Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at our Division office in Salt Lake City, UT. *
Performs secretarial and administrative functions of a highly responsible and confidential nature for an executive under minimal supervision, utilizing a high degree of independent judgment, discretion and a considerable knowledge of the organization, it's policies and staff. Performs office management functions.
Has a great deal of latitude for independent judgment. Minimal supervision. Determines own work priorities within deadlines set by supervisor. Incumbents must be knowledgeable about organizational policies, philosophy, mission, regulations and office procedures and be sensitive to office protocol. Incumbents judge what routine correspondence and inquiries can be resolved without referral to the supervisor and prepare correspondence or handle complaints, inquiries, etc., as is deemed necessary without direct supervision. In the absence of the supervisor, he/she must sometimes make administrative decisions.
Role will support Division Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Division Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Regional Vice President of Human Resources (RVP HR).
What qualifications you will need:
5 years related work experience or education.
Experience with Microsoft 365.
Advanced secretarial skills, typing of at least 65 wpm and computer skills in word processing, email, power point, and spreadsheet programs required.
Must be able to proofread material and correct spelling and grammatical errors and be able to @type complex tables, correspondence and forms.
A great deal of tact and diplomacy is required to effectively interact with a diverse group of influential external and internal callers and visitors, often dealing with sensitive and highly confidential matters.
Extensive knowledge or organizational and department procedures required
Shorthand may be required.
