This role is part of the AAdvantage Travel Rewards team within the broader AAdvantage organization.
The Analyst, AAdvantage Vacations Support is responsible for managing a variety of projects that directly impact the Travel Rewards organization, while also providing operational support and day-to-day management across several AAdvantage programs, including AA Vacations, AAdvantage, Travel Experiences, and Agency and Corporate programs.
In this role, you will support both upcoming and evolving strategic initiatives across the Travel Rewards organization, focusing on implementation, business readiness, ongoing management, and long-term maintenance.
You will also collaborate closely with Design and Delivery teams within AAdvantage Travel Rewards, as well as cross-functional partners such as Strategic Partnerships, IT, and Accounting/Accounts Payable.

Auditing and managing relationships with vendors with focus on speed to market and accuracy
Assists in implementation and management of strategic partnerships
Supports AA Vacations Sales promotions
Assist in Fraud prevention and engages in reactive measures
Communicates with both internal and external stakeholders
Creates reporting and analysis of program performance as needed, maintains reports
Performs vendor mapping activities, looks for opportunities to improve and streamline existing process
Manage project plans, ensuring all initiatives are executed within established timeframes
Makes recommendations for process improvements and efficiency, works with key stakeholders on resolution
Conducts training and documentation of processes
Troubleshoots AAV system functionality, handles daily communication with Reservation counterparts to spot trends and optimize platform stability
Serves as a liaison between IT teams, Accounts Payables and AA Vacations Sales Team
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
2-3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Airline/travel agency experience
Knowledge of AAdvantage loyalty program
Knowledge of airline ticketing policies/procedures, tariffs/taxes
Familiarization with Customer Program data
Experience in product management and/or strategy/development experience, data analysis
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to be flexible in rapidly changing conditions and priorities
Initiative, collaboration and creative problem solving
Knowledge of general accounting principles/procedures
Knowledge of auditing procedures
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and professionally represent the team
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Excel and Tableau
