We are looking for a highly experiencedSoftware Engineer IVwith a deep background incloud infrastructure,distributed systems design, andlarge-scale deployment architecture. You'll help architect and implement core infrastructure platforms that power high-availability services and enable developer velocity across the company.
As a technical leader on the team, you'll design scalable, reliable systems using PythonandGo, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve observability, performance, and deployment efficiency for our cloud-native applications.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
Design and implement infrastructure systemsthat support scalability, resiliency, and maintainability across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Lead architectural discussionsand drive technical decisions for large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
Build tools and services inPython and Goto automate operational workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
Ensure systems areobservable, secure, and compliant, incorporating metrics, logs, and alerting into every layer.
Collaborate with product, DevOps, and security teams to ensure platform reliability and velocity.
Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, particularly when working on shared infrastructure, tooling, or services.
Mentor and support engineerson your immediate team, helping them grow in their technical careers and navigate complex challenges.
REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency inGoandPythonfor building backend services and automation tools.
Proven experience designing, deploying, and operatingcloud-native systems(e.g., Kubernetes, service meshes, autoscaling infrastructure).
Deep understanding ofdistributed systems,networking,caching, andresilient design patterns.
Expertise inCI/CD pipelines,containerization (Docker), andorchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
Demonstratedtechnical leadership across engineering teams, especially in the @context of shared platforms or infrastructure.
Proven experiencementoring engineerswithin your team and helping foster a culture of technical growth.
Experience with zero-downtime deployments and blue/green or canary rollouts.
Prior work with high-throughput, low-latency systems at scale (millions of users or transactions).
Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or frameworks.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.) in cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience integrating with billing platforms like Zuora, including API usage, data synchronization, and operational monitoring.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Denver, Colorado; San Antonio, TX

The annual starting salary for this position is between $133,000 - $150,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/ market , skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
