Summary The Administrative Officer for Nursing - Acute Care located in Nursing at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Nursing - Acute Care is a complex service in a heavily university-affiliated health care system with multiple sites. It serves a diverse veteran population over a large geographic region in Northern and Central California (Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Livermore). With seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics (Sonora, Modesto, Stockton, Fremont, San Jose, Monterey and Capitola). Responsibilities The major duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Directs all administrative activities of the Service including budget and financial management. Serves as a key member of the service leadership team. Provides input, advice and counsel for planning, programming, budgeting and general administration of all service units and programs.
