You Are an elite cybersecurity veteran with a passion for offensive research, deep-dive malware analysis, and leveraging artificial intelligence for advanced threat detection and defense. You possess an extensive background in reverse engineering, exploit development, and building scalable security systems. You have a proven track record working successfully in a fast-paced, agile environment and a genuine desire to outsmart the most sophisticated threat actors.
The Work is an exciting opportunity to lead, influence, and execute on our most complex threat intelligence and defensive research engagements. In this role, you will analyze and dismantle novel, encrypted malware used by sophisticated nation-state and criminal actors. You will drive innovation by designing, developing, and deploying AI models and automated systems to identify intrusions, preempt attacks, and dramatically scale defensive capabilities. Responsibilities include:
Advanced Reverse Engineering: Performing static and dynamic reverse engineering on multi-stage packed malware
AI for Defense: Lead the development and deployment of AI for automated threat detection and analysis, translating research into production-ready security systems.
Tooling & Frameworks: Creating, maintaining, and sharing specialized tools (e.g., IDA Plugins/Scripts, dynamic analysis frameworks) to enhance the team's efficiency and research capabilities.
Vulnerability Research: Conducting deep vulnerability research, exploit development, and penetration testing while consistently bypassing protection mechanisms.
Publishing Research: Contributing to the external security community through internal and public research publications on malware analysis and defensive techniques.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 12 years' experience with Reverse Engineering and Hacking.
Minimum 7 years' experience in a Senior/Principal role focusing on complex malware analysis, threat hunting, and intelligence.
Minimum 3 years' experience leading or developing (hands-on) AI systems for security
Extensive development experience in low-level C/C++ and Python
Proven ability to author and present highly technical reports to both technical and non-technical executive staff.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with 3-letter intelligence agencies and nation-state level threat actors.
Expertise in IDA Pro (including IDAPython scripting) and related analysis tools (e.g., Olly/Immunity Debugger, Ghidra, Frida).
Active participation in the security community (e.g., Competed in Defcon CTF).
Relevant advanced training such as SANS SEC760 (Advanced Exploit Development) or Blackhat Advanced IDA Pro training.
Strong knowledge of attack techniques including DLL-Injections, SQL Injection, DOS, MITM, and Session Hijacking.
Advanced industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, relevant SANS certifications).
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
