Summary:

Working in a Customer Focus Team (CFT) structure, the Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on production support. The Manufacturing Engineer must possess process knowledge of manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support for production teams.

Resolve production & process issues, as well as tooling & equipment malfunctions.

Collaborate cross functionally with design, test, quality, maintenance, and supply chain, to meet production goals.

Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Deploy Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead root-cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.

Create and maintain accurate process documentation, including manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other technical reports.

Participate in design and process FMEA.

Train production staff on new and existing processes, equipment, and safety procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.

Adhere and contribute to the improvement of NEOTech's ISO 13485 Quality System.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

2 - 4 years engineering or related experience preferably in a Contract Manufacturing Environment.

PCB Assembly experience highly desired

Hands-on experience with SMT manufacturing including screen printing, pick/place, selective and wave soldering, flow oven, and soldering inspection.

High sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Understanding of DFM/A, FMEA and IPC requirements.

Ability to successfully participate in a team environment.

Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, customer Bills of Material.
