We're looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Sample Management team at SPT Labtech. This is a remote, East Coast-based role, ideally located in the Northeast, focused on selling capital equipment into the Life Sciences market.

You'll work closely with an experienced Sales Manager, taking ownership of a well-established Sample Management (https://www.sptlabtech.com/sample-management) product portfolio while helping to drive its continued growth. You're a natural relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset, comfortable engaging customers and advancing opportunities.

Having a perfect command of the products and services programs and knowing how to propose a global solution by cross selling our product range.

Ensuring that application knowledge is maintained at an optimal level by relying on the support functions (training, binomial tour, e-learning).

Being responsible for CRM data and management

Beneficial Skills/Experience

Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a capital sales specialist role is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in selling automated Sample Management/Lab automation technologies in the Eastern portion of the United States market.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline is mandatory, given the background required for the role.

Ability to travel up to 50% across the Eastern portion of the United States.

Familiarity with using CRM as a central sales tool.

Established network across the Eastern portion of the United States.

Proven success and ability to develop business.

Ability to conduct presentations or complex demonstrations in front of varying audiences.

Autonomy, team spirit, and remote work capabilities.
