[Part-time Seasonal Administrative Assistant ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Position Overview: The Othello Food Bank is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time seasonal Administrative Assistant focused on Systems Development and Implementation. In this role, you will play a vital role in enhancing our operational effectiveness by developing and implementing innovative systems that support our food distribution efforts. This role provides a unique opportunity to assist the Executive Director in managing the daily operations of the food bank, helping implement the organization's plans and goals, and ensuring that the food bank delivers essential services to the community. The Assistant Director will be instrumental in maintaining food safety standards, coordinating activities, managing inventory, supporting event planning, and ensuring smooth food bank operations. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills will be critical to the success of this role. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Key Responsibilities: ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Daily Operations Support: ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Assist the Executive Director in coordinating day-to-day food bank operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in food distribution. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Maintain accurate inventory management of food items available each day. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Complete budgeting, monitor expenses, and manage financial processes for food bank operations. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Event and Schedule Management: ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Support the planning and scheduling of events and distributions. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Represent the food bank at community events, meetings, or as needed by the Executive Director. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Facilitate volunteer management and coordination. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Reporting & Communication: ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Prepare and submit regular reports to the Executive Director and Moses Lake Food Bank, ensuring clear communication and compliance with the required deadlines. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Document processes and maintain clear records of system specifications and modifications for ongoing reference and reporting. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Policy Implementation & Compliance: ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Implement food bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and organizational goals. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Ensure that all operations comply with relevant food safety regulations. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
