SUMMARY: Responsible for providing support to Court staff and judges in conjunction with the operation of the audio/visual (A/V) and court-related office automation systems throughout the Justice Center, including, but not limited to, digital signage, text messaging, automated storage and record imaging.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in the daily setup of AV services in the courtroom. Working knowledge of videoconferencing platforms and A/V routing required (special consideration will be given to applicants with Creston and BiAmp infrastructure experience).

Resolve AV issues in the courtrooms; coordinate with support vendor(s) when needed.

Maintain and update IT inventory and stock list. Perform bi-annual reconciliation of County inventory and chargeback list.

Develop and maintain IT/computer replacement/upgrade plan for inclusion in court budget process for out of warranty equipment.

Update Court webpage when required (working knowledge of Civic Plus is desired).

Provide basic support of Microsoft Office 365 suite. Provide support of Court PC peripherals and Apple iPad applications.

Coordinate with State, County and other court Department technology staff to install and maintain applications for court users.

Attend Court/I.T. meetings as required; provide status of joint initiatives.

Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with court officials, attorneys, general public, and other Bucks County departments and agencies, and other intergovernmental agencies.

Provide staff training on technological changes or new implementations.

Follow State, County and Department security requirements, policies and procedures; understands and adheres to security plans, emergency procedures, and confidentiality policies; helps to provide a safe and secure environment for self, co-workers, and clients; takes measures to secure data and client information; keeps updated on all safeguards and security programs.

Work effectively and independently without need for regular direct supervision.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school education or equivalent.

Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum three (3) years of relevant information technology experience or two (2) years' experience with degree.

Experience with A/V systems and video conferencing platforms preferred. Basic desktop support and Microsoft Office 365 knowledge (required).

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to operational problems is required.

Ability to exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact with the public and with co-workers.

Ability to speak and write in a professional, discreet manner.
