As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Bland, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
