Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for an energetic and detail-driven Temporary Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our finance and operations teams in our Holmdel, NJ office! This is an exciting opportunity to step into a fast-paced role where your organizational skills and accounting know-how will make an immediate impact. If you're proactive, dependable, and ready to take on a mix of administrative and accounting responsibilities, we'd love to have you on our team! Responsibilities - Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.- Assist with data entry of invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and expense reports.- Track, file, and maintain vendor and client documentation, including W-9s and insurance certificates.- Reconcile receipts and credit card statements; follow up on missing documentation.- Support mailing, shipping, and office-related tasks (sending FedEx packages, managing incoming mail, purchasing office supplies).- Prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for financial tracking and reporting.- Assist with gathering and organizing data from internal drives and files.- Coordinate occasional office tasks such as ordering meals, assisting with events, or arranging deliveries.- Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications - Previous experience in an administrative or accounting support role preferred.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (basic formulas, data entry, formatting).- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Comfortable handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality.- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour (depending on qualifications) What We Offer At Colliers Engineering & Design, our people are our most important resource.
