Summary You will serve as a ACCOUNTANT in the NAWCAD COMPTROLLER GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will analyze and interpret financial data contained within financial systems, including identification, research, analysis and resolution of complex problem You will provide professional accounting services for a wide variety of programs and operations of the Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF), MILSTRIP, Contracts, Purchase Cards, Training, Travel, Payroll , OFD, Accountable Property and Transportation. You will conduct day to day operation of cost accounting functions which involve numerous programs and specialized treatment of transactions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience; Performing day to day accounting operations in Navy ERP for General Equipment, Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Outgoing Funding Documents (OFD), Government Purchase Card, Fuel and Transportation activities. Serving as the Organizational Property Administrator for NAWCAD Lakehurst accountable property. Reviewing and adjust dormant account balances in accordance with Financial Management Regulation; and Making recommendations which effectively contribute to decision/policy making process, to improve existing accounting procedures/systems.
