Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: Coordinates and performs day to day maintenance operations and supervises assigned employees.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent, 5 years of work experience in a Healthcare Environment

Preferred Education: Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Required License: Must have a valid NC driver's license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.

Preferred License: Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing

Required Experience: Five years of hospital maintenance experience with background as craft-worker in one or more trades. Must be proficient with computers.

Preferred Experience: Electrician, HVAC technician, Plumber

Located between the towns of Highlands and Cashiers, the hospital offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as long-term care through Eckerd Living Center. Ambulatory services are also available, including therapy services and primary care. Highlands-Cashiers Hospital has more than 24 beds for acute care services and 80+ beds in the Eckerd Living Center. Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is a member of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare.
