Job Description:
Allied Universal® Technology Services is seeking a Director of Installation. We are seeking a leader to serve as Director of Installation , overseeing security integration projects in the region. This role carries responsibility for multi-branch operations and plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, client satisfaction, and alignment with company objectives. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing a large-scale installation portfolio, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the consistent delivery of complex security integration projects. This role reports to and works closely with the Regional Vice President to execute strategy, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive financial performance across multiple branches.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, guide and manage installation and project management activities across a multi-state region
Directly manage one or more Installation Managers; oversees the performance and development of the region's Project Managers and their project delivery teams
Establish goals, conduct evaluations, and drive accountability for project execution, financial results, and customer satisfaction
Operational & Project Excellence
Ensures the installation projects are executed according to plans, specifications, codes, and budgets, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction
Monitor project schedules, manpower planning, subcontractor performance, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and prevent delays
Oversee planning, execution, and quality assurance of system installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines
Business & Client Accountability
Maintain profit and loss financial (P&L) responsibility for the region, ensuring adherence to budget expectations while driving profitability and operational efficiency
Serve as the escalation point for clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership; conduct site visits to verify quality, safety, and alignment with company standards
Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Service leadership to ensure seamless project transitions, consistent handoffs, and long-term customer relationships

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
Highly effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframes
Experience with profit and loss financial (P&L) management experience, along with successfully building and developing teams
Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs
Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific licensing (e.g., Class D, Alarm Installer)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Word)
Willingness and ability to travel to job sites, including overnight travel as needed
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical, decision-making, and planning abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
College degree in business administration, management, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering or project management (techniques and tools)
Professional certifications in project management or resource management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall)
Experience in the security integration industry
Knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.)
BENEFITS:
Pay: $130,000 - $170,000, 20% annual bonus potential, auto allowance and gas card

Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
