Branch Inventory Analysis - Approve and process branch equipment transfer requests and rental fleet additions and deletes per company guidelines. Process all branch used equipment purchases, sales, and transfers. Record the purchase and sale of equipment in depreciation system, update asset information in the system, and process required journal entries to update book value. Track and post monthly depreciation. Verify all equipment inventory payables, including new equipment and warehouse equipment products. Assist branch personnel and tax department with inventory analysis.

Inventory and Financial Account Reconciliations - Reconcile equipment and warehouse products inventory to the balance sheet for a minimum of 10 branches and determine the related financial statement impact to the organization. Perform complicated and non-repetitive daily and monthly accounting analysis of non-inventory accounts such as deferred income, supplier down payments and intercompany accounts. Make correcting journal entries and provide explanations to branch management.

Research Questions/Concerns for Branch Management Teams - Perform an assortment of accounting assignments for the branches. Research complex financial transactions, impacting multiple income statement and balance sheet accounts. Assist various branch personnel and management teams with resolution and correction of branch posting errors. Advise on proper use of branch processes to ensure proper financial statement recognition. Research and correct daily system batch errors. Correct surplus returns for Accounts Receivables. Respond to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable inquiries. Assist branch personnel with financial statement inquiries.

Miscellaneous - Prepare schedules required by external audit. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Branch Commissions - Record adjustments based on feedback from branch management team. Settle commission entries in C360 once approved each month.

Minimum Qualifications

2-4 years related experience

Associate degree (Accounting)

Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

Occasional travel (0-5%)

Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

Per 8-hour shift. Sit 8 hours and stand 0 hours. Typical office environment (low noise level, limited exposure hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and vibrations). Regular interaction with others and performs a degree of independent work. Physical and mental demands are akin to the majority of office positions with prolonged periods of sitting and prolonged use of a computer/keyboard. Infrequent lifting, walking and climbing stairs. Occasional use of office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.).

Preferred Qualification

A four-year college degree, preferably in accounting, or a two-year college degree with accounting experience, including account reconciliation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Good communication, analytical, organizational and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail. SAP experience is beneficial
