Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Technical Artist with a strong game development background to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to improve machine learning (ML) models and tools that enhance art production and game experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ML, scripting, and technical art to bridge the gap between creative and technical teams effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to improve, optimize, and integrate ML models and tools within the art and game development pipeline.

Collaborate with artists, data scientists, and engineers to identify opportunities where ML can enhance workflows and game features.

Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate tasks, improve data quality, and streamline ML model training and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to ML model integration and art asset optimization.

Research and implement state-of-the-art ML techniques applicable to game art and content creation.

Ensure ML-driven tools and assets meet performance and quality standards for target platforms.

Document ML workflows, technical processes, and best practices for cross-team knowledge sharing.

Skills and Requirements

Proven experience in game development with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical art and ML-related projects.

Deep understanding of machine learning models, frameworks, and tools relevant to game development or art production.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or similar for tool development and ML workflows.

Strong knowledge of 3D graphics, rendering pipelines, and asset optimization.

Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and integrating ML-driven features.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Strong communication skills to explain complex ML and technical art concepts clearly. - Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Background in procedural content generation or computer graphics.

Familiarity with version control, build pipelines, and data management.
