Summary This position serves as a Budget Analyst with the Resource Management Division located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). RRMC is on one of the Nation's premier facilities, providing support to various Department of Defense (DoD) tenants in an all-hazards environment. Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Manages budget formulation, justification, budget execution, and monitoring the day-to-day allocation and control of resources. Conducts analyses of external financial audits and financial management studies of Divisions. Coordinates, prepares, and briefs budget and Program Budget Memorandum (POM) issues, staff, and management decision papers that succinctly define complex problems, identifies weaknesses, and interprets aberrations from programmed budgetary and planning assumptions and recommends remedial action plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications DOD FINANCIAL MANAGMENT CERTIFICATION CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 1300.26, "Operation of the DoD Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP)," this position requires a Level 3 Certification under the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program. If he or she is not already assigned this certification at this level, the incumbent of this position must obtain this certification within two (2) years of entry on duty into this FM position. Once certified, the incumbent must meet the continuing education training requirement as outlined in DoDI 1300.26.
