Job Duties/Scope Of Work This position is responsible for performing Treasury services for HMIS, WRPS Closeout Office, HEWT, and Legacy Benefit Plans as part of an overall commitment to providing services to the Hanford site. Additionally, this role is responsible for assisting with travel reimbursements. The successful candidate must be able to effectively perform the following essential job duties: Obtain bank reports from online banking applications and verify account balances. Monitor account activity and positive pay. Record financial activity such as cash receipts and disbursements. Initiate wire transfers and issue/stop/void checks. Provide daily funding needs to the bank for Letter of Credit (LOC) accounts and manage monthly drawdowns with the Department of Energy (DOE). Interface with other Hanford Contractors and the DOE. Complete journal entries. Reconcile financial activity. Review employee travel reimbursements in accordance with company policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). Basic Qualifications High School diploma -or- equivalent. Three (3) years related experience. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge. Desired Qualifications Experience using Microsoft Access. Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. To obtain this credential, new employees must successfully complete and pass a federal background check investigation. This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year. This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws. In accordance with the HMIS salary determination process, offers will be made by taking into consideration the level of assigned job duties, responsibilities, and the candidate's qualifications relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. The salary range listed represents the full range of salary that may be offered.
