Job Title: Finance Clerk

Job Description

This position is responsible for inventory management and control for retail products, including assisting with the annual inventory audit and producing month-end inventory reports. The role also involves processing e-commerce orders and providing customer service to resolve any issues.

Responsibilities

Process purchase orders and e-commerce orders for purchases made through vendors.

Track orders, investigate problems, and provide exceptional customer service for problem resolution.

Monitor and maintain current inventory levels following established procedures.

Record purchases, maintain the database, perform physical inventory counts, and reconcile stock counts to computer-generated reports.

Process and document returns according to established procedures.

Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.

Perform administrative duties related to vendor relations and book sales, such as researching book vendors, arranging appointments, processing purchase orders, and vendor orders.

Leverage technology to provide streamlined solutions that are efficient and effective.

Handle multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

BS degree in Accounting OR 1-2 years of related financial/office experience.

Knowledge of and ability to learn and become proficient in NetSuite.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

The position requires working Monday through Friday in an office environment from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The work setting is an open suite, highly collaborative environment, requiring regular and reliable attendance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
