Description Are you an organized and motivated individual with a passion for numbers? Our client in Greenfield, MA is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, supportive environment where your accuracy and attention to detail will play a key role in the success of the organization's financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist with processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. Perform data entry for financial records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile bank statements and assist with maintaining general ledger accounts. Communicate with vendors and clients to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. Perform administrative tasks related to accounting and maintain organized financial records. Requirements Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or related field is a bonus.
