We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join a passionate team focused on advancing cancer treatment solutions through cutting-edge biotechnology. Pay: Up to $44/hr. | Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, some flex to start time Key Responsibilities: Assess and qualify potential new suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities; support component introduction Create and maintain incoming inspection procedures and train inspectors accordingly Develop or source appropriate inspection tools and equipment; assist in generating and approving component specifications Generate and monitor test protocols, issue qualification reports, and approve components for production use Analyze material defects, drive corrective actions, and communicate quality issues to suppliers Support design engineering with component selection, quality analysis, and manufacturability input Investigate supplier-related field failures and collaborate on corrective action plans; ensure compliance with quality systems and procedures Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field with at least 2 years of relevant experience Background in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or semiconductors Proven project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional, global teams Experience with process validation, design controls, risk management, CAPA, and SCAR Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor information to different audiences Quick to learn and adapt to new software applications (e.g., PLM, ERP systems) Domestic and international travel up to 25% Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance, a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), commuter/parking accounts, Health Savings Account (HSA), and AD&D insurance, and People Perks (additional employee discounts).
