Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Warren, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage general ledger entries and reconciliations to support monthly closing activities.

Compile accurate financial statements in alignment with established accounting standards.

Analyze and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and intercompany balances.

Provide documentation and schedules to assist with external audits.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to aid decision-making.

Develop and update accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.

Maintain and track fixed asset schedules to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Perform additional duties and special projects as required. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

1-3 years of experience in accounting, including internships.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
