Job Summary:
As the Integrated Supply Chain Site Lead, you will support the mission of our nation's defense systems and its service members. You will be part of a team that pushes processing technology that accelerates innovation to address challenging aerospace and defense missions. Your efforts contribute to delivery of technologies and expertise for sensor processing, command and control, mission computing, and digitally integrated communication systems. Our products ensure the safety of those that serve and protect the world we live in by making the technology and "innovation that matters;" the world's most advanced defense platforms.
You will be a key stakeholder in helping to achieve Mercury's focus areas of predictable performance, a thriving growth engine, margin expansion, and cash release through delivery performance and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for site supply chain matters (planning, purchasing, material handling) in support of program management, operations and engineering.
Align supply chain execution with program schedules, production demands and contractual obligations.
Manage supplier performance including on-time delivery, quality and cost through proactive engagement and problem resolution.
Maintain all material planning factors to ensure system health. Analyze the data integrity of ERP data (item attribute, BOM's and routings) to ensure proper MPS/MRP planning.
Develop and manage performance to operations-related plans and budgets.
Shape policies and procedures ensuring efficient execution and delivery of the operating plan for the business.
Develop and maintain material strategies to ensure continuity of supply, mitigate risk, and support cost and schedule objectives.
Drive inventory reduction activities to improve cash and increase turns while maintaining accuracy for the entire site.
Support Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) with monthly assessments of supply and demand constraint management plans.
Successful integration of new products into the manufacturing process including knowledge, experience, and proven adaptability with different manufacturing disciplines.
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all functions within Operations, program, and business teams. Ensures that a smooth flow of accurate and detailed information is maintained, problems are resolved, and required changes are implemented in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related major.
Typically requires of 8 years' relevant experience planning and/or procurement in A& D contracting aerospace and defense.
Experience 5 years of leadership experience in a matrixed environment. (Direct Leadership)
Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 supply chain compliance.
Experience with supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
Experience in with low volume, high mix, high complexity manufacturing environment.
Experienced application of Lean concepts in a manufacturing or planning capacity.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other related tools.
This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
Preferred Qualifications:
High proficiency with Oracle or comparable system particularly in Supply Chain and planning transactions.
Familiar with CPSR -Ability to drive compliance with DFARS/FAR, ITAR and company specific policies including counterfeit part prevention, traceability and cybersecurity.
Ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
Strong strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
